My name is Charis Santiago and I am a 2nd generation Filipina-Canadian therapist who provides relational psychotherapeutic services in Victoria, BC and telehealth.
​
I am passionate about working with you surrounding a wide range of mental health issues. My specialties include working with issues of trauma and sexual abuse, racial/ethnic and identity development, issues with family and unconscious work towards intrapsychic integration.
​
I have previously worked at multiple community mental health organizations in both the US and Canada working with Child, Youth and Family Services as well as in-patient treatment with adults.
I hold membership in the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, RCC#: 18132. In my work, I consult with specialists when necessary, and actively pursue continuing education in my areas of focus. I receive ongoing supervision and consistently engage my own personal therapy.
